ALL PLAYERS/PARENTS MUST FOLLOW ALL (5) FIVE STEPS BELOW FOR TRYOUTS.

  1. ALL PLAYERS MUST FILL OUT PLAYER PACKET COMPLETELY BEFORE TAKING THE FIELD AT TRYOUTS. PLAYER PACKET AVAILABLE IN THE FORMS SECTION.
  2. ONE TIME $30.00 REGISTRATION / APPLICATION FEE DUE AT TIME OF TRYOUT.
  3. WE STRONGLY ENCOURAGE ALL PARENTS TO DOWNLOAD AND FILL OUT FORMS PRIOR TO TRYOUTS.
  4. ALL NEW PLAYERS MUST INCLUDE A COPY OF THEIR BIRTH CERTIFICATE WITH THEIR PLAYER PACKET.
  5. ALL PLAYERS/PARENTS NEED TO ARRIVE AT TRYOUTS IN TIME TO REGISTER PRIOR TO START OF TRYOUT (30 MINUTES MINIMUM PRIOR TO TRYOUT STARTING TIME IS RECOMMENDED)

]]> http://www.westvirginiachaos.com/home/664183.html U-12 Girls advance to the semifinals in the U.S. Youth Soccer Region 1 WV CHAOS99 U12 Girls – 2012 Semifinalist, Region 1 Championships, Lancaster, PA 07/09/2012 05:35 PM http://www.westvirginiachaos.com/home/642371.html Excellent work and a  well done by the WV Chaos U12Girls, competing in FS girls division at the Region I Championships in Lancaster, PA.  The girls played very well against elite competition during 4 HOT DAYS in Lancaster, PA.  After a tough 1st day loss to NY-E (6-0), the girls rebounded to take Game 2 vs. Connecticut (1-0).  Game 3 was against a very strong Rhode Island Team.  The girls were up on RI, 2-1, with 1:30 remaining to end the game in a 2-2 tie.  The WV CHAOS99 team, win or tie, moved on to the semi-final round against Pennsylvania-East.  A very hard fought game that could have gone either way, the WV CHAOS girls lost 1-0 with the score occurring in the final 10 minutes of the game.  This is the second time in 3 years Coach Ashleigh Woods has taken a WV team to the semi-finals at the Region I Championships; an accomplishment no other coach in WV has achieved in some time.  The WV CHAOS99 U12G competed hard, exhibited excellent sportsmanship, and represented the WV CHAOS Soccer Club and WV professionally and made the WV Chaos Club and our state very proud.  The players are excited about the opportunities ahead for this team.  Congratulations to our U12Girls and Coach Ashleigh Woods!!! Great Work!!!!

The U-9 Girls are well on their way to establishing themselves as the top team in the area for their age bracket. Their hard work and exceptional training was displayed throughout the weekend at the Medina invitational Soccer Tournament. Starting off the tournament strong with a 9-4 Win over the North Shore Saints, then following up with a hard fought game with Medina (the tournament host). The Chaos girls set the tone, they were there to win. They would finish the second game with a 8-6 victory over Medina. However day one was not over, the team would finish the first day of the tournament with a third game against Chargrim Falls. The girls took the field ready to play and determined to continue their winning streak at the M.I.S.T.  They would dominate their third game of the day from the start and finishing it with a 10-1 win.  The final game of the tournament on Sunday would be between the only two undefeated teams, the WV Chaos and Hudson United.  The girls came out strong and never let up, winning 5-1 and claiming the U-9 Championship.

teams in an age bracket. Questions are commonly centered on whether the WV CHAOS should field one stronger and one weaker team or two balanced teams in an age bracket. The policy of the club will be to field the strongest team possible in each age division and then additional teams when possible, with the overall goal of doing our best to insure that every player has a place to play. Under this policy, the most developed players will be on the roster of the first team, with the next group on team 2 and so on. The tiered structure of the WV Chaos Soccer Club provides opportunities for each squad to find its own competitive level over the years through the reshuffling that may occur after the spring season.

In an ideal situation, no player should be guaranteed a position on an individual team from year to year. Because of the differing rates of skill development and physical maturation in youth, a player who is initially on the 2nd or 3rd squad in an age bracket should be able to move up to the 1st squad as he/she develops. The tryout process, with an independent evaluator at each age bracket, will be intended to provide this opportunity to players.
