The team travelled to Cincinnati over the weekend of April 18th-19th to participate in the Mid-American Soccer Classic (MASC). The boys played up, in the u13 Copper Division, in order to play full-sided (11v11). The boys played very well all weekend, although they did not get the results to show it.
The boys lost their first match 4-0 to the Classics Hammer F.C Academy team out of Cincinnati despite dominating the play against an older squad for much of the match. The boys only trailed 1-0 until deep in the second half, when they gave up 3 late goals.
The boys earned a 1-1 draw in the second match against the CSA BU13 Black team out of Loveland, OH. Once again they dominated the play against an older squad.
The boys dropped their third match 2-1 to the eventual Champions, the Carpathia Kickers 97 Gold out of Sterling Heights, MI. This was a very evenly played match against a very skilled team and the boys were tied 1-1 until giving up a late goal.
